September 11, 1965, was the day Paul Heyman was born in Westchester County, New York by Sulamita Heyman to Richard S. Heyman.

Heyman was the kind of kids who grew up rather very fast and he didn’t waste any time to start his first business even before he was 11. He started a mail order before later deciding to build his life in the arena. He got his education from the Edgemont High School before moving to Westchester Community College. While he was there, he worked with the WARY-FM New York which belonged to the college.

Where he got to become famous, however, is in the wrestling business into which he ventured in the 1980s. As soon as he became a teenager, he started out as a photographer who was always in the arenas taking pictures of pro wrestlers. The only thing that beat that for a boy yet to be 15 was that he also started his own newsletter known as The Wrestling Times Magazine while he was also writing for the Pro Wrestling Illustrated.

Still, even before hitting 15, he landed his first pro wrestling work when he contacted the World Wrestling Federation and was given a Madison Square Garden backstage pass. All through, his father would remain one of his strongest motivation even though he worked as a personal injury attorney.

Heyman would continue handling different gigs in the wrestling community until 1988 when he moved on as an announcer and a manager. In years to come, he worked in the World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, and World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment under the names Paul E. Dangerously and Paul Heyman.

Having had what can best be described as a great career, he has won a number of accolades such as the Pro Wrestling Illustrated manager of the year in 1992, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Best Booker (4 times), and Best Non-Wrestler (6 times). More so, he got inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2005.
