What Happened To Her?

Several explanations to why the former child actor left the spotlight have emerged, some say her disappearance was to help her shake off the childhood stereotypes that often plague young actors who began their careers from childhood.

But this only turned out to be nothing more than mere speculation as her disappearance from the silver screen was only a choice she made to enable her to pursue a career in the legal profession.

According to her co-actor in Step-by-Step, Patrick Duffy, he once wrote a recommendation for her to be accepted into law school.  Although we are not certain the type of law she studied or is practising, we are sure that what happened is that Staci actually left to get a degree in law and she now works as an attorney in Los Angeles under the name Anastasia Sagorsky,

Staci Keanan did not totally abandon her love for acting and the screen as she still occasionally accepts some gigs. In 2004, was featured in the short Stolen Poem, then in the films Hidden Secrets, Holyman Undercover and Death and Cremation in 2006 and 2010 respectively.

Also in 2010, she starred in a cameo in You Again alongside some of her Step By Step castmates. She also co-starred in the film Sarah’s Choice.

It is also expedient to mention that while Staci was away from the spotlight, she got married to actor and film producer Guy Birtwhistle, so you wouldn’t be wrong if you added Birtwhistle to her last name.

The couple tied the knots on February 11, 2017. What we are not sure is if they have any child(ren) of their own yet.
