On January 16, 2018, Syfy International gave the green light for the show to air 10 episodes for its debut season. A few months later, The CW picked up the show to be aired in the United States. Filming of The Outpost‘s first season was done for 5 months and all filming and production of the show was done in Utah, United States.

The show has aired for two seasons and a total of 23 episodes. The show’s premiere episode titled “One is the Loneliest Number” aired on July 10, 2018. The first season of the show aired 10 episodes and its last episode, titled “The Dragman is Coming”, aired on October 2, 2018.

The second season began with the episode “We Only Kill to Survive” which aired on July 11, 2019. The show’s second season aired 13 episodes and it ended with the episode “This is our Outpost”.

Dean Devlin tweeted via his Twitter handle “#TheOutpost is a go for season 3!!!”. His tweet was replied by several stars of the show who showed their excitement and appreciation to fans and producers of the show who made it happen. The third season of The Outpost is scheduled to premiere come Monday, July 20, 2020.

Jessica Green

stars on the show as its lead character, Talon, who is the last survivor of the Blackblood race and the only one who survived the massacre of her people. She grew up with a heart full of the desire for vengeance and she sets out to avenge the wipeout of her race.

Jessica was born in Tasmania, Australia, on February 11, 1993. She has starred in films such as Peter Pan, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Jake Stormoen

Jake starred on the show as Captain Garret Spears. His birth name is Jacob Leif Stormoen and he was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on July 20, 1988. Jake is also a graduate of the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. In 2014, he received an award for “Best Supporting Actor” at the Utah Film Festival for his role as Airk in The Christmas Dragon.

Imogen Waterhouse

On The Outpost TV show, Waterhouse portrayed Princess Rosmund/Gwynn Calkussar. Princess Rosmund is the only surviving member of the royal family after the royal family was overthrown and killed.
