Victoria Principal was born Vicki Ree Principal, the elder of two daughters to Ree (née Veal) and Victor Rocco Principal, on the 3rd of January, 1950 in Fukuoka, Japan. Her mother was a homemaker while her father was a United States Air Force sergeant that was stationed in the eastern Asian island country. Because of her father’s military career, the Principal family moved around a lot, living in different countries around the world as well as different states in the U.S.

Principal spent the first three months of her life in Japan before being raised in places like London, England, the U.S territory of Puerto Rico, and states like Florida, Massachusetts, and Georgia.
