Age – Who Is Jimin from BTS?

He was born Park Ji-min on October 13, 1995, to his parents in Geumjeong District, Busan, South Korea. Growing up in Busan, he attended Hodong Elementary School and also Yonsan Middle School. The talented artist confesses that he was greatly inspired by the South Korean singer, Rain. Before school, Jimin already had a strong interest in music and was greatly inclined to follow this passion of his. In 2012, Jimin went on to participate in a dance audition which landed him a spot at Big Hit Entertainment, before he then proceeded to Korean Arts High School. The following year he joined the K-pop group as a dancer and vocalist. With the release of the group’s single No More Dream that year, he made his debut and was quite exceptional. He did not stop there, the singer also did a lot of collaborations while with the group. With one of the BTS members Jungkook, he rendered Christmas Day, tagged the Korean version of the song Mistletoe by . A few other collaborations followed before Jimin went on to feature in the show Hello Counsellor, Please Take Care of My Refrigerator and a few other shows.

In December 2018, Jimin released his first solo work without the BTS Crew and it was titled Promise. Additionally, the South Korean music star is also known for his unique dance moves which make him stand out from the rest of the K-Pop group.

His Brother and Family

The names of Jimin’s parents are not known. However, it is known that the talented artist is the oldest child of his parents and that he grew up with his father and mother. Jimin’s father owns a cafe known as Alice’s Table in Busan. Meanwhile, Jimin isn’t the only child of his parents, he has a younger sibling, a brother named Park Jihyun.
