It has been made public, that Umbrella Academy will come back with a season 2. This news was brought by Netflix and one of the film’s creator’s Steve Blackman gave us a sneak peek into the storyline of the upcoming film. This teaser was dropped on Steve’s Instagram page and it showcased the cover of the first episode of the coming season, which was tagged “Right Back Where We Started”. This has made avid followers of the series speculate that season 2 of Umbrella Academy will center on the lives of the film’s characters when they were much younger to give more insight into the series.

Who Are The Cast Members Of The Umbrella Academy Season 2?

With the excitement in the air as fans await the release of Umbrella Academy season 2, speculations of who will make the cast of this upcoming season is also ongoing. However, it has been revealed that while some of the casts who played recurring roles will be reprising their roles in season 2, there will also be new characters that will be introduced. The new additions will include Ritu Arya who would be taking on a role as Lila, and her character has been described as naughty, satirical and incalculable. Yusuf Gatewood will also make his first appearance on the show as Raymond while Marine Ireland will appear as Sissy.

Sheila McCarthy as Agnes – a baker who owns Griddy’s Doughnuts where she also works as a waitress. Ashley Madekwe as Detective Eudora Patch – the ex-partner of Diego. Jordan Claire Robbins as Grace Hargreeves – a robot created by Reginald to be the adoptive mother of Umbrella Academy.

Peter Outerbridge will come back as The Conductor. Kate Walsh will reprise her role as The Handler – the leader of the Commission and former employer of Five. Rainbow Sun Francks will be seen playing Detective Chuck Beaman.

It is also known that Aiden Gallagher who featured as Five might not come back on the show in season 2. The actor even tweeted on his page that he was thankful for portraying such a role and he considers it one of the best roles he had ever played. This also suggests that he will not be seen in Umbrella Academy season2 although a very clear statement about his exit from the show is yet to be published.
