Eleanor Tomlinson was born on the 19th of May 1992 in London to Malcolm Tomlinson and Judith Hibbert. It is safe to say she comes from a family of entertainers as her mother was a singer while her father was an actor before becoming a horse racing commentator.

Career

Knowing for a fact that she always wanted to be an actress, Eleanor began her career in the film Falling in 2005; in the movie, she portrayed the character – Little Daphne. She then gained recognition in 2006 when she appeared as Young Sophie in The Illusionist. The next year, she played Agnes Muller in Einstein and Eddington.

Eleanor Tomlinson’s career continued to blossom and in 2008, she starred as Jas in the teenage film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Her teenage character Jas was BFF with Georgia who is the main character of the film. The film was a hit and turned the stars into teen icons.

In 2009, Eleanor Tomlinson landed a role in the TV series The Sarah Jane Adventures, playing the role of an alien called Eve. The actress then received a role in the blockbuster film Alice in Wonderland as Fiona Chataway and then in 2010, she was cast as Miru in the TV show The Lost Future.
