Kaitlin Janette Doubleday did not need to relocate to Los Angeles to make a career for herself in Hollywood like many actors and actresses; she was born in the entertainment capital city of the world. Unsurprisingly, she gets her acting genes from her actor father, Frank Doubleday and filmmaker mother, Christina Hart. She also has an actress sister, Portia Doubleday.

Born on July 19, 1984, the actress had her high school education at Hamilton High School where she enrolled in the institution’s Music Academy.

The actress comes from a show business family and they have always supported each other’s individual careers. Sadly, her father, Frank died in 2018 and the age of 73.

In 2002, the actress earned her acting debut in an episode of the CBS series Without a Trace. She followed it up in the same year with a feature film role in Catch Me If You Can, where she played Joanna.

She continued to play minor roles in movies and series like Strong Medicine (2003), Cold Case (2004), and Freshman Orientation (2004). In 2005, she was cast as Amy in her first supporting role on Waiting…(2005) and followed it up with The TV Set (2006) and Accepted (2006).
