The computer-animated film Arctic Dogs (and its characters) is the brainchild of Canadian filmmaker Aaron Woodley, who in 2016 brought us the computer-animated sci-fi adventure comedy film Spark. Woodley directed and co-wrote the film which is one of six films to be distributed by Entertainment Studios in 2019.

The British-Canadian-American computer-animated comedy film, which is also named Arctic Justice: Thunder Squad, tells the story of an arctic fox who tries to prove he is capable of handling bigger tasks in the mailroom of the Arctic Blast Delivery Service. In the course of proving this by secretly commandeering one of the sleds and delivering a mysterious package to a secret location, the fox comes across a blubbery evil genius who plans to drill beneath the polar ice caps to unleash enough ancient gas to melt the Arctic and then flood the world in order to reign as supreme leader.

With no option but to stop the destruction of the world, the arctic fox enlists the services of some of his friends, who are tagged as misfits, as they come together to fight and save the day against the evil genius and his loyal army of oddly polite puffin henchmen.
